Emma Chorus is a non-audition ensemble when anyone can just come to sing. Whether you have done any singing before, or not, this is the ensemble for you! We tackle music from Bach to Barbershop and are always willing to take suggestion from members of the chorus.
Like the orchestra, the chorus rehearses weekly throughout term, usually in the Chapel on a Wednesday evening after dinner. Generally we work towards the end of term concerts.
Occasionally the Chorus joins forces with the Orchestra. This formidalbe combination allows ECMS to perform such works as Vivaldi's Gloria. For the Lent Term 2008 Concert, the Orchestra and Chorus joined together to play a 30 minute medally of songs by Simon and Garfunkel.
If you would like more information about the Chorus or would like to be added to the mailing list, then just contact the committee.
